Fragments of changes, under layered power ballads and melodies, is what’s on offer by the duo which makes Chaos over Cosmos so much more than just a band. Delicate guitar work with samples of synth behind it to express a real feeling of satisfaction within the music.
All guitar tones have been set to a somewhat hard rock tone while keeping the quality of an industrial feel to the notes.
Powerful time structures keep up with a forever rumbling beat of drums as the songs flow through their own journey while taking you for a pleasant ride through the sound waves that make your mind wonder. The vocals are quite surprising; on a few levels as you hear cleans and growls followed by both harmonised and blended together.
It is very clear that these guys are very musically in key with themselves and their thoughts. A love for hard work has definitely paid off for these guys because every little aspect has been covered in each song. Furthermore, the album cover is definitely a reflection of the songs, quite sci-fi and full of colours and lights. It makes for a nice bundled package.
One can’t help but to zone in and let chaos over the cosmos take your mind through a maze of fantastic riffs and skilled tech drumming.
Personally, I would rate this around a 4 out of 5 because I can appreciate the hard work and dedication that has been put into this music. Chaos over Cosmos is definitely worth checking out and definitely worth your time!! Go check them out and have a listen.
