Canberra based Metalcore outfit A World In Colour are back with the release of their emotive new single ‘In The Blue’, which was premiered via AAA Backstage. The band have also announced that they will be sharing the stage with industry heavyweights Unearth on Jan 24th at The Basement, Canberra.
New single ‘In The Blue’ focuses on the grief associated with losing someone. “In The Blue is a song about losing someone but being trapped by the memory of them. Sometimes memories of someone you’ve lost can be beautiful and meaningful but we wanted to explore the darker/sadder side of being haunted by memories that you can’t escape and feeling overwhelmed that it becomes hard to remember the good that person brought to your life.”
A World In Colour blasted onto the scene in late 2021 with their single ‘Descent’ – an attack on the government’s lack of interest in protecting the country and its people during the 2020 bushfire crisis. The band then followed-up in 2022 with the release of their hard-hitting single called ‘Break Me’, which premiered exclusively via Hysteria Mag.
The single received praise from Triple J staff and was aired on over 50 radio stations across the globe. ‘In The Blue’ is available on all major online stores and streaming services.
